Depending on the application, the bearings can be supplied with or without a spacer ring between the two outer rings. They can also be provided as self-contained units with a retaining sleeve fitted over the outer rings. Compared with conventional bearings, these self-contained bearing units with retaining sleeves are characterized by high load capacity and ease of use. The sleeve integrates the inner and outer rings into a single assembly. This design significantly reduces outer ring deformation caused by heavy axial loads, thus optimizing the stress distribution on the rolling contact surfaces and contributing to extended service life. The axial internal clearance is determined by the sleeve. There is no need for spring preloading. The simplified configuration design results in cost-effectiveness and easier installation.
